Hey guys in this blog we are going to see about copyright strike on YouTube. If you are a beginner youtuber this information is very important for you !

  • What is copyright ?

First know these things before creating YouTube channel.

Copyright means uploading others content in your site(YouTube). It may be a video , image or Audio. This copyright issues happens in every online platform but now we are just talking about copyright in YouTube. Copyright in YouTube is also a same thing as like in every online platforms , When you upload a video of an other channel in your channel and if the owner of the original video sees that video in your channel, then he can able to give copyright strike to your channel.

How it works:

The copyright system in YouTube work step by step like
  1. First if you upload other one's video in your channel without any cropping of the video. YouTube will check that video and notify (as a mail) the original owner of the video.
  2. In that mail there will be a option to give copyright strike to your channel.
  3. If the original owner want to give copyright strike to your channel he can give strike in one click.
  4. And you will get the copyright strike.
  5. If you get a strike you will notified through mail.

How many strikes are ?

There are three strikes in YouTube copyright.
All depends with copying other content.

  1. When you get first strike your live streaming option will be disabled and after that you cannot be do live streams in your channel.
  2. When you get second strike your channel's monetization will be disabled and even you get 1000 subs + 4000  WATCH hrs you can't earn through that channel
  3. When you get third strike your channel will be terminated (removed) from youtube.

For you:


But don't worry, if you give a unique content and video in your channel without taking from other's , you won't get these strikes.

This is just a information for every beginner YouTubers. The action is your's. SO.. Be carefull with these copyright.
